14 Day Gratitude Course

One of the qualities we develop during meditation is gratitude. Gratitude to our Teachers, Goenkaji and Mataji, as well as the entire line of Vipassana Teachers ascending to the Buddha.

January 30, 2024 will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of our Teacher, S.N. Goenka. In order to celebrate this date, a special course will be held in different countries of the world, including Russia.

The course is open to old students who are actively involved in Dhamma service. Requirements for course participants:

  1. You have completed at least three 10-day courses as a student and at least one course of the Satipatthana Sutta
  2. You are actively involved in Dhamma service
  3. You have been trying to maintain a daily practice of two hours a day since at least the last 10-day course.
  4. You're trying to maintain the five precepts in your daily life.

Application forms for all course participants require the approval of a Teacher who knows you well. If you do not know which Teacher you should mention in your application form, please contact the registration committee.

The course follows the usual format with three group meditations per day, but students work more independently and the teaching materials are taken from the 20-day course. This is an intermediate step that will help students prepare for long courses and act as inspiration for deeper work in the Dhamma.

Please note that the minimum of three months break between courses as a student applies to this course as well! Therefore, if you are planning to participate in a 30-day course or a Satipatthana Sutta course, then you only need to choose one of these courses!
